Wintertime...

The last weeks have been very wintery here.
Lovely and brisk when I go out for my morning constitutional.

Thomas is enjoying snuggling down with 'Goldie"

We do get some sunshine..and it looks deceptively warm...it isn't!!

My lovely lad enjoys his scout leadership weekend camp at Charlotte Cove.
John and I go up on the hill and I inspect the latest developments..
Rolladoor on the shed..
 Lovely red laundry door
 Sewing/gust room
 Never tire of the view...
The shower tiles look great...thanks Loki...

We are hosting a book launch for our friend and neighbour Emma on Sunday 28th...First children's event so we will be setting up a little differently this time

Emma is giving this gorgeous original artwork away as a bokk buyers' prize..

Tom has a couple of days off school with a nasty vomiting bug...it takes him a little while to pick up again...His friend 'Goldie' is good company..

And the arrival of Lucy for the weekend is another reason to smile...

We get on with wedding dress fitting...but take a short break to go up on the hill

 Beautiful day..

Tom's Eyry is looking great..Loki and the boys have got the roof on...

Lucy and Narns take a look at the view from the Eyry

Stunning view of Port Cygnet on our way home..

Glad to head home to a hot lentil curry...thanks for cooking Lucy!!

More sewing on Sunday...and a dash through the market...very cold despite the sun.
Time for a quick walk down to Burton's before I drive Lucy to the airport.. A successful weekend.
