Well here is another brief review...

My contribution was the white Mandala...

Off to Sydney to fulfill a long held dream to see Coppelia performed by The Australian Ballet
City Christmas lights are a real treat too..
We walk to St Mary's to watch the light show there...amazing

I take an early morning walk..love Sydney this time of the day..

 OOOH getting exciting..
Time to have a brief Christmas visit with Pa..very special..
I then drop in to see Libby and Chris and we enjoy a  catch up morning tea..and mince pies too!!
Back into town for a rest then...tog up for the Ballet..

Tom takes some great shots of us heading to the house..
I never lose the joy of this part of the evening...always feel so privileged ...it is so so special

I look like I'm bursting into song...not sure what I was saying!!

 Truly a wonderful evening..
I cried when the music began...took me back to my girlhood days...prancing around the lounge room.

Sunday we had a slow start then wandered about at Newtown until time to go to the airport..
Glad to hit the cool weather in Hobart..

We have a hectic week with lots of orders coming in and more walk in customers now tourist season is upon us.
John and I will miss seeing Talan set up her TROVE across the road.. She is moving up to the old Post office in the New Year..

I'm spending my free hours putting together a Yarn bomb display for out bench out front of shop..
We will start the installation on Dec 28th...not long now..

We have a huge drop in temperature, after quite a hot day...so refreshing
With king tides due to the super moon...we take a drive down to see the jetty...it is under water.

Tom has his awards Assembly...and performs with the band

Award for Academic Excellence...  5 A's   well done Tom

Port Cygnet Lions Club awards ( for dedication and contribution to college life) and prize money given to a Year 7 and Year 8 student. Tom is the year 7 winner.

Talan having a cuppa with a mate..
We round off the week with pre-Christmas drinkies at Bob and Paul's place at Randall's Bay on Friday evening. We enjoy conversations with various friends in attendance....then head home for an early night as we are up early for a Harvest trip.

Catch up ....Goode visit for 'Christmas'

Well, time has got away again. So here is a speed catch up of the past few weeks.
The stunning digitalis and Calendula in our garden down in Cygnet...so beautiful.

My big boy enjoying his afternoon 'wine glass' orange juice
Tom and I have been hard at it mowing and whipper snippering the rose garden area.. Tom stops by to give me a posy of dandelions!!

Some of the roses...really taking off now.

It is such hot work...that I have a lovely swim in the dam to cool off...

Just love the reflections on the big dam..

 And in our kitchen window...

Hannah is in Sydney to babysit the Crandon boys while Jess and Aaron go to a wedding...so I get some lovely photos..

Don't these two scrub up well..

Jess sends some absolutely gorgeous photos of her big boys...growing up sooo fast

We do a Chamomilla process... John is able to find a local source thanks to some wonderful networking by our neighbour Sue.

We do our annual early morning Christmas Tree harvest...in readiness for our Sydney visitors..
The tree is so beautiful , Tom and I do not use many decorations this year..

The advent window is up in the shop..
I enjoy a lovely row in the St Ayles skiff on Wednesday evening..
Thursday I host the final Knitwits for the year..a good attendance

Friday evening and the Hannah arrives with the Goodes..
Just in time for me to bath Bailey..
Hannah delights in spending time with her nephew..

I snap this lovely shot of the boys to send to our Taiwan customer...who told us he likes to play this game with his family.
 Saturday morning views ...

 Good morning Mr B

 Getting very clever..
I take a walk to photograph the hay bales and my roses...

Blue Moon...always reminds me of Ma...

The bales look lovely in the evening light.

We had such a lovely time chatting to Jess and Ben on Facetime a couple of times over the weekend.
Ben delights in holding onto the phone ('I hold it')...which make for some very interesting footage.. (makes me seasick!!) So special to have them share in the fun of the weekend...just love to hear Ben talking about this and that...

 Sunday morning...with mum and dad

 John Pa and Unca Tom

 Goldie says hello..
 Al fresco dining...
Paul and Tom in the kayaks

The boys play nerf commando games
After lunch (and some early Christmas gift giving) Tom is keen to try out his new 'tyre ' floats
Jark , Hannah and Tom hit the water..

Bailey togging up for the sunshine..
 What a beautiful day...

 Tom in his element.
 Jark sneaking up behind Tom

 This is the life

What an amazing day we had...such fun playing on the dam

Christmas elf...
Bailey gets the gift giving underway...what a cutie

Gorgeous couple these two...and what brilliant parents. Bailey is a lucky boy
The rest of the gang...
And the olds....
Even Goldie gets into the spirit..
Ah...such a sweet photo of a beautiful couple...

Monday morning goodbyes with Bailey..(mum and Dad have gone back to bed as this little munchkin kept them up most of the night!!)

A bit of Hairy McClairy from Unca Tom
 A quick cuddle with Goldie
The a walk with Auntie Narns and Unca Tom

It was lovely to have the gang drop past the shop on the way to Hobart...I even got to give Bailey some of his bottle. Dear Lucy and Paul ducked over to the school to say goodbye to Tom (who had been very downcast that he had not been able to say goodbye this morning)
Coffee to get them on their way...
But OOPS...A sleep deprived Lucy made a mistake with departure time and they missed their flight..
Hannah to the rescue...and they went back into Hobart for Japanese lunch and hung about with a sleeping Bailey until time to go back to airport for rescheduled flight at 4.30ish.
What a marathon...and to cap it all off the flight was delayed due to thunderstorms in Sydney...the poor darlings.
Thanks for coming for such a wonderful "Christmas"
