A thousand pictures tell the story..

Well our darling Jacob has arrived..

I am safely home but have succumbed to a very nasty flu/cold bug that does not want to leave me..

 So in the interests of  publishing these photos...I'll keep the commentary brief..

 Aaron and Jess head to hospital at 6am...so I do the honours with a waking up Ben

After a long, anxious day for Katie Nanna...I make my way to the hospital about 3 ish to sit in the waiting room and wait for news..i barely sit down and the phone rings...Jess to tell me it is a BOY!!.

Jacob Mark born 2.26pm... 4.56kg (10lb)

I see him hot off the press.

 Aaron and I go to have Jacob measured...

And look who gives Jacob his first bath!!...what a privilege ...

Big brother comes to visit after Day Care...not sure what is going on..

I take Mia to the park while the others settle home..

Saturday...and Martin and Gilly drive over from Barraba.
I meet them in town for lovely lunch and chat...then they visit briefly..

Gilly leaves us some of her famous scones...and they go down really well!!

Well that's all folks ....for now anyway...

Vale Linda Pembroke... Life goes on..

With deep sadness, Jess rings to tell me that Aaron's Dad's partner Linda has lost her battle with cancer...what a beautiful soul she was...shone a light on all of us who were privileged to meet her.

Linda was such a loving 'mum' and friend to Jess...she will be truly missed.

Thursday and I go down to garden where Jo demonstrate and teaches me the finer points of espalier pruning of apple trees.

 We have some lovely sunny days...but the wind is chill...

I get a sign up to advertise our book launch on Sunday..

 Up on the hill on Saturday, Tom and Hedwig are ready for work..

First job of  the day is to make up a couple of kneeling mats...the ground is very soggy

 I collect 'cages' for plants..

 The big day arrives and River (Emma's son) is very excited!!

Monday...and it is exciting to see the sunrise a little earlier...

The week flies by with lots of orders to do..

Narns and Jark call in for a short visit on Tuesday...lovely to see them.

Wednesday..I went into Hobart to get a few things from Spotlight...

Thursday and Winter is back...

Tom is counting down last two days of term (15 hours so his teacher tells him!!)

 A bit dismal at Community Garden...but we get a good roll up and get a surprising amount done before feasting..

Knitwits tonight...looking forward to catching up with those that brave the chilly evening.

We have not been able to go into the house this week as the concrete slab is being polished...will be interesting to see how it comes up.
