Business as usual and more progress on the hill

Another busy, busy week.
So as I am time poor again...the photos will tell the story..
The boys did a brilliant job of boxing up the Cubby ready for the pour..

John knocks up some form work either side of driveway to old dairy area..for any excess concrete

 Lovely early morning light..

Here come the trucks...

Gorgeous view across to Port Huon..

The garage pour begins

]

Tom takes a lovely zoom shot of Mt Picton..across the river

He also takes a great shot of the truck...with our floppy cages protecting plants in foreground.

All looks good that afternoon when we go up for a look.

Loki arrives to hose down the slabs

John does a Calendula harvest on Thursday...he goes to Community Garden, we have some in our garden...and he finds some patches around town..enough to make a good batch of juice for a Calendula cream.

It is Hobart Show day  so Tom has a holiday from school..We get him to work processing..

We have a busy day despite it being a Public Holiday in South Tassie...as we are open for business and the orders roll in.

On Saturday, I attended a wonderful workshop called 'The Phenomenon of Death and Dying'..
Some fantastic speakers and a beautiful session watching two Antroposophical nurse/practitioners prepare and lay out a (volunteer) body using our products...Rosemary Bath Milk to wash the body, Olibanum/Myrhh oil (Frankincense/myrhh) applied and massaged gently all over body and finishing with Aurum /Rose /Lavender cream massaged into face, heart and hands.. quite wonderful.
The 50+ attendees watched in silence as they worked with such reverent care for 40 minutes.
very proud to see our products used in this way.

Sunday we go up onto the hill despite grey weather..
The boys have worked hard yesterday to box up the cubby verandah for a second pour.

Our HUGE generator has been delivered as the builders will be using it for their power source

We decide to try to save two lovely trees near the house site...which means evicting a possum family
As the following photos illustrate...it was not a straight forward operation...but we succeeded in the end..

 Monday the work continued..
The steep cut in the bank is being cut back to a gentler slope which we will seed with grass..

The area around the house is being leveled out.Ready for scaffolding to go up for framework build next week
