On another subject...
Some completed Yarn Bombing pieces...my flowers ,hearts, roosters and fish have been appliqued by some of the YB group...they look great.

Well, thankfully ,our gear turns up...
The boys head up on the hill after we finish the Hypericum process..BIG DAY

I am too overwhelmed and tired to even think of unpacking on Wednesday night..

Thursday is Christmas Eve..a busy day dealing with last minute Christmas shoppers
Hannah comes down to spend the day with Tom.. (Christmas Eve is the longest day of the year I reckon!!)
We finally close up and have dinner...Tom opens his traditional Susi Christmas Eve present..

Then it's time to tog up for the Scout float...Star Wars theme..

We walk up to the footy oval to drop Tom off...great excitement.

Then John Hannah and I drop in to Tereza and Winsor's place for drinks...before the parade arrives

Not such a good vantage point for photos though..

Big crowd on such a lovely evening...but we don't hang about as we have another social engagement..
Santa drinks and eats at Posie and Andrew's place...a lovely evening

Christmas Day arrives...and it's going to be a warm one.
We enjoy this years' new present giving..restricted to one each ...Lucy has organised a Kris Kringle and Jess gets me..
What a delight to receive delicious teas and ....a selfie stick!! (a source of great amusement to us all...good one Jess...haven't laughed so much in ages)

SMILE EVERYONE

 Jarks' wishes come true..

And Narns seems quite taken with her pressie..

Tom is delighted with Tim and Libby's great gift idea.

John loves his singing cat and Tom his whistle from Linda, Mark and Connor

After a bit of prep-ing...we go up on the hill so we can have first Christmas lunch there.
I get to work on the meal...fairly simple...but tasty...(and even have time to try out my selfie stick)

The boys get to work assembling Tom's bed
Tom does the selfie honours...

Narns and Jark have a play  (this is the best photo I reckon)

Narns and Jark head off after lunch and we continue unpacking a few boxes..
Eventually we go back down to the flat for a quiet evening and some Musketeers before collapsing into bed pretty early.

The next few days we go back up and make more headway.
John hangs paintings...really make things feel homey.
We have our first sleepover on Boxing day..
On Sunday we continue until late afternoon..then go into Hobart for dinner and GoldClass Star Wars movie ...great fun.
We drop Tom off at Narns' palce so he can stay a couple of nights..

I just love the views..

John and I continue with the unpacking..it is a slow process...then it's back to work again.
Lots of tourists in the shop over the next few days..
I delight in cutting some of my roses for the shop...and they are admired ..

New year's eve arrives.. Tom is packing for Jamboree ..he flies out to Sydney on Saturday morning. One excited young man

I love my new morning route on the hill...gorgeous skies..

Wishing you all a HAPPY 2016 !!
