The weeks fly by

Have had a busy, enjoyable few weeks. here are some snippets..
Just love working in my sewing room. The view is spectacular...I can literally watch the weather coming..

We did have a bit of rain about a week ago..but not nearly enough.
Our dams are dropping by the day..
The Tassie Hydro System is not operating and due to a fractured BassLink cable(our back-up source of power from Victoria ) the state is being powered by diesel generators...
We delight in being off the grid.

The boys have been devoting the weekends to cubby construction..It is looking terrific

I did a spot of window cleaning for them...

I did such a good job of cleaning this window that John struck his head on it as he tried to look outside for something...oops

Love the kitchen window views...ever changing
Currently working on a few projects..
Number !...is Jacobs birthday quilt

Love love love the early morning skies this time of year

John discovers these Mutsu apples at Bec's ...huge and really delicious..

I become an official Port Cygnet CWA member (even though I can't get to meetings due to work...
I can contribute to projects they do)

The weather is a bit chilly...though the outside temperature is quite mild during the day.
The shop, however, does not warm up so I resort to getting the fire going so I don't freeze all day.

We get more rain...

Good morning sunshine and friends..

I'm off to Moree via Sydney for a long weekend...so capture a lovely shot of my boys..
I catch up with Lucy and Paul ( and baby bump)for a delightful dinner on Thursday night.
Doesn't Lucy look gorgeous...
I fly in to Moree Friday morning..
So exciting to see Jess and the boys.
Jacob has changed so much since I saw him in January..
And Ben is Mr chatty.

Jess dons her bib cape and she and Ben show me their Superman game..Ben loves it of course!!
Katie Nana even gets a bib cape from Ben.

WE go outside while Jacob is sleeping and enjoy the Moree sunshine.

Do some dig dig digging...well Ben gets us digging anyway,,
Buddy enjoys looking on in comfort..I turn my head and....

Buddy has changed into Ben
Park time...
What a smiley boy

Ben loves his books...
A bit of chalk drawing on the driveway ...then time to watch the cars go past..

Shenanigans at dinner time
Oh Oh...bath time...look out!!

Sweet glimpses quiet moments of the boys

Story time tonight is a bit challenging for Jess
Ben is distracted by the chimney..

Fun and games
Time to help dad wash the dogs
Serious business
Hmm...now what is dad up to....cleaning the car

Jacob cuddles

Lunch at the Golfie...

I take a walk after lunch...love the car wash sign
More fun and games with the gorgeous boys..

Bath time again
Look out Katie Nana...
Ben is armed and dangerous...

The real story of Jacob's mood..(.so sad to see Katie Nana go...or perhaps he is teething!!)
