By mid morning, I decide to go for a walk up on the hill...the warm day is just calling me outdoors.
John decides to join me and we have a delightful hour walking some new areas of our land...down in the trees by the stream.
John does more sorting while I make a lemon Marmalade from the little lemons on our trees...its a bit runny but look delicious!!
I potter in the garden a bit...getting restless to see Thomas. Melanie, Finn's mum, is bringing him home About 2.30ish we hear a car pull up and there he is!! Happy but very tired..
We unpack his gear do a bit more gardening then Thomas crashes..and sleeps for a good hour or so..
We have a peaceful afternoon , reading and I bake some choc-chip cookies for school lunch box..
Then we have early showers, enjoy the pies we bought yesterday, watch a bit of Olympics then its off to bed.

Tom happily heads off to school.
John and I get on with orders that come in all morning.. It's busy today...how we like it.
I have to go in to Huonville half way through the day to see the dentist..I broke a tooth...bummer!!
It is a beautiful drive though and the dentist work is not too traumatic...but I do have to go back in a few weeks for a crown to be done..
I enjoy the drive home even more...and before long Thomas is home from school.
About 4ish, Tom and I go for a bike ride down to the Sailing club as there is no Scouts tonight. Its such a wonderful evening..and we have a lovely time.
Tuesday and a stunning sunrise today.
After John has got his morning coffee I go down to Community Garden for the morning. There is still alot of water on the ground...but we all find different jobs to do. Weeding, planting seeds, pruning etc.
I spend the morning weeding a garlic patch. It is so warm..that i soon take a few layers of clothes off...just delightful. I thoroughly enjoy myself.
We stop for the usual cuppa and chat before saying our goodbyes until next week.
We have lunch then John does some book pricing...while I do a couple of orders.
The clouds have come across and on a walk to the post office I feel the first drops of rain..but it doesn't stay around for long.
After 4pm I have a half hour walk up around town...umbrella in hand..but I don't use it.
Tom does a great job finishing his homework.
John has a few customers through the shop while I am away and sells a number of books.
We go up to RV for Tuesday night social...and enjoy soup and conversation with some new faces...terrific.
Home and settle down for a quiet night.
Wednesday and again the sky is colourful..
Such a lovely morning. There is a solitary swan standing in the middle of the road as I head home..a delightful sight.
John and Thomas have their usual morning reading session. Tom has found himself a good position..
We have a fairly quiet day..only a few orders to do and a few customers..
The weather changes dramatically mid afternoon as rain and wind sweep through town.
Tom arrives in from school and we all head to Huonville. Tom has a plantar wort that needs attention so we are taking him to the doctor..Back home we have an early dinner of chips and burgers then settle down to read the evening away...lovely.
Thursday and again the sky glows.
I watch the senior students line up outside Carmel hall across the road each morning this week.
They are sitting Formative exams this week..

At least it was not as messy as the slime we made last week.
We had a number of customers through the afternoon and we sold a few books.
It was a cool afternoon/ evening so we were happy to get through early showers and settle down to read the night away.
Friday and its a grey , cool and drizzly start to the day. I don't get too wet though.
John's plants are doing well..
John and Tom enjoy their usual read. The book is called 'The Boggart' and often has Tom in stitches of laughter!! It's delightful to hear.
We have a really busy day today...lots of orders and customers too.
I decide to make up our Spring Remedy sign for the window...well it was warm at the beginning of the week!!
Before long Thomas walks through the door...that day went quickly...
He has the May Ball class photo that we ordered some time ago.. It's terrific..

I take a break and drive down the Cygnet Coast to collect a box of sticks..Its pretty fresh out and the wind is blowing the water about...but I love it!!.
Back home and I do some more sewing. Its coming along well...It's a new sewing process for me...having to work in short stages...as I need to fit the dress on Jess before proceeding. I'm finding it very enjoyable...
The weather comes and goes a bit today..
Its lovely to see the cattle getting extra feed as I work.
Before long the boys arrive home and unload their haul of books and gardening paraphernalia..pots, potting mix etc. John has plans to get more medicinal plants growing..
The afternoon gets away as we potter... then we have early showers to watch the second last HARRY POTTER movie...Tom has been looking forward to this all week.
