Its Market Day and before long we hear the cars arriving slowly to set up in the Hall..
The boys do the rounds while I answer some emails...then we open the doors.
A nice flow of customers through the doors today..we sell some medicines and a number of books..such a lovely buzz of activity in town today...must be the Spring weather
I do a round of the Market after John returns with his RV coffee. (Tom has decided to have his Hot Choc at Red Velvet)
Tom and I make a yummy bolognese/macaroni loaf for dinner..
After lunch we head back up on the hill and continue clearing the 'old dairy' site under the trees.. Tom as a great time making 'swings' with a length of rope..
We shower and have a lovely quiet evening.
John notices that Talan has left her lights blazing in Trove tonight...looks spectacular..
Monday is a beautiful morning..
The day passes very quickly..
I do a bit of sewing on Jess's dress after work..
Tom enjoys scouts and proudly returns with a 'Second'er badge as well as his official membership certificate.
Tuesday and its a cool start..a lovely walk and the cloud reflections are quite beautiful colours.
I enjoy the morning down at the Community garden. We weed and weed and weed this morning.. Its lovely to work and chat with the others down there. A great atmosphere.
Bruce from the Old Bank B&B comes down to talk to me about the representations to Council re the proposed carpark. He has done alot of research and documentation that I will use to send in our concerns...
We have a delightful cuppa together...everyone enjoying the remains of the Pear and Pistachio cake I brought for morning tea.
The afternoon is filled with orders and various tasks to be done.
I end up driving in to Huonville about 3ish to drop off my representation re carpark to the Council chambers.
Tom and I tackle his homework then before long its 5.30 and time to wander up to RV for Soup and bread social.. We enjoy our meal with Lyn and Vicki (from bookclub), Brody (Vicki's son) and Lisa (from Post Office). Its great to chat with different people each week..
Wonderful rainbow out the back when we get home.
John and Tom are out early too today.. They come down to the Community Garden to harvest some Borage..then I continue with my walk..
I get a loaf of Rye bread in the oven..
We work through the day getting order out..
Jess calls to plan a visit this weekend so we can make her wedding dress..exciting.
After work Tom and I do a bit of shopping, go down to community garden to water plants then get stuck into finishing homework...
A quiet dinner then a bit of a tidy up for our visitor!!..
Thursday we have an 8am meeting with Ryan re our house on the hill...
Then its into work..I do orders while John makes Bath Milks and an Aurum/Rose/Lav cream.
I'm leaving for town after lunch to drop by Spotlight before picking up Jess at 4.30...
Friday, Saturday and Sunday are long, all consuming days at the sewing machine... Jess patiently sits about between fittings.
We have dinner at Peppermint bay on Friday night...good to take a break.
Jess and I have breakie at RV while boys off to Hobart for most of Saturday...then Tom and Jess have a short play outside before they watch a Harry Potter movie while I continue sewing..
Sunday morning I make a start early as the boys are up and go to meet Ryan and Arlo over at Margate at 8am..they go in search of Sphagni..
I have a break at 9 and Jess and I have breakie at Lotus Eaters.. then its back to it for the day.
Finally finish for the day about 8.30..after a final fitting.. More hand work to do...but I think the bride is happy..
