Being busy at work provides a comforting rhythm to each day.
I become more aware of activity in town.
Red Velvet gets a beautiful new roof..
Raphs' birthday begins with a beautiful sunrise...sent by Ma I'm sure!!
I attend a School Board Meeting on Tuesday evening and go down to garden on Thursday
My dear friends that I meet on Friday evening at the pub, have been planning a dinner in my honour to support me...sadly as the weeks are passing, I tell them to go ahead without me, as I seem to have somewhere else I have to be. They promise will raise a glass to me ! ( I hear it was a lovely evening)
John and I plant Stone Pines up on the hill and make protective cages for them..rewarding work.
Sunday morning we do more planting then John goes down to help clean up at Charlotte Cove while I stay home to do a big clean and tidy..
We go back up on the hill with a very tired Tom.
A bit of lego setting up..
Early night for all..
The following week it is getting chilly...
I gain great comfort wearing Ma's lovely hand-knitted vest.
Another day I wear the dress I found at an opp-shop in Moree thinking of Jess and my little Ben. What a little sweetheart he is. Even if he is a rascal for his mum at times..
(Ma's medallion is always close to my heart.)
Happy birthday wishes sent to Dewayne and Tim.
Then it's darling Hannah's 24th birthday.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NARNS..we don't catch up on the day as she has uni then a dinner outing planned with her good friends..
I go down to garden..a lovely morning.
Sadly this little fellow is hiding in the plants and accidentally gets his leg cut
Benjamin continues to delight me (thanks Jess)
Tom enjoys archery on Saturday morning
We spend time up on the hill, preparing and beginning to plant out our edible/medicinal forest garden.
we will have to erect a possum proof perimeter fence...but for now, each plant has it's own cage.
Very exciting to be finally planting out..
I really enjoy my Sunday morning cuppa from Ma's lovely rose teacup.. (my favourite) I like having her kitchen tablecloth on the table too.
Pa is always in my thoughts these days..as he copes with new health issues this week.
Been looking at some favourite shots of Ma and Pa...including (I think) the last one taken around St Patrick's day this year..
