We see the sunshine less and less this week.. by the weekend we are back to wintery 13°C max..
After choir on Tuesday night we do a little Chrismas tree hunting and find a beauty..(maybe a bit of trimming needed John!)

Wednesday is the Primary end of year concert..
Cecil B de M would have been appreciative of this extravaganza..

That evening I am celebrating Christmas with the Friday night Pub drinks girls...
Resort wear theme...except Tereza and I are the only two in costume as it is freezing cold..
We all bring a plate to share at Vicki's place...amazing view..
(By the way...Vicki has just completed her DE ..Bachelor of Archaeology at Oxford..
What a woman!)
Friday evening we attend the launch of the Happiness Project- Cygnet Stories..
Fantastic animations and short films made by local children and artists..
Swansong provide ambiance as guests arrive..

We go up on the hill on Saturday despite the cold...and get a bit done..
Sunday John and I take turns at the scout fundraising stall.
Matthew and Isabel's mum Jane is brilliant at spriuking the crowd...we sell all the treats and lots of raffle tickets too.
Corner post on the verandah goes up on Monday..
The preparations for getting the roof on have been delayed due to the rain..

Repairs to RVL roof underway. The start of a long period of re-construction
