Amazing couple of weeks

I finally finished Jacob's quilt .

I embroider a lovely doll I have had for some time...(made by a local woman here in Tassie)
It is for my grand niece Elizabeth Joy...to celebrate her Baptism

I also make a library bag for my grand nephew Ryan ...for his 3rd birthday.

And I look forward to giving Lucy and Paul the knotted blanket I have made for their bub.

I am up in Sydney to visit Pa at his new 'digs', to help Lucy prepare for her Baby shower and to meet up with the boys and go tho the Opera..Cosi fan tutte.
Lucy takes me to a delicious breakie at Hunters Hill

Lucy has everything under control and there is not alot of prep to be done

A truly delightful production of Cosi fan tutte.

Sunday we strike out in a northerly direction for a change

Stunning day

We walk around Lavender Bay to visit Wendy Whiteley's Garden.
Just beautiful...so many hidden nooks. a real oasis.

We walk back through Luna Park...Just for fun!!

We stop at Ball's Head and Tom has a terrific time exploring the bush tracks
and rock hopping by the harbour.

Fabulous views

We call in to the Hunters Hill cafe for a spot of lunch before heading to the airport

The week whizzes by.
Thursday night I have a date with Hannah in Hobart.
We are going to the Women's business event put on by SAR (Students against Racism)

What a joyous event...
We hear the harrowing stories of the journeys these women took to get to Hobart.
They share laughter, their passion for their culture, their heartfelt gratitude to be here...awe inspiring

Beautiful costumes
A rare privilege to see the Muslim women in party clothes.

And to finish this blog..
My darling Jacob..

and Ben (Mr Chatty)
