Early arrival of Bailey Andrew...Baby photo alert!!

So the weekend came , and I had 2 jobs I was determined to do.. give the shop a thorough clean and pack my bag for Sydney dash when Lucy gave birth...still not due for awhile (31st August) and being first bub, I anticipated a longer wait...but thought it best to be prepared. (So pre-occupied was I, that I forgot to contact someone and wish her a happy birthday...sorry Jane!!)

Anyway, after a full-on Saturday, I was just contemplating the tasks for Sunday when Paul sent news that Lucy was about to deliver!! Holy moly...
Flight booked...we took off to the shop to do a hard mornings work packing a large order that came in late Friday...then the boys drove me to the airport...so excited.

Its a boy...Bailey Andrew.
I make my way to Blacktown Hospital and arrive about 5.30pm to the sight of my darling Lucy snuggled down with her beautiful son..

The following day, Paul gives Bailey his first bath

Rest time

I head off for the day to pick up a few things that Lucy was
going to get this week...bassinet sheets etc.
I drop back in briefly then leave the Goode family in peace together.

I do not feel lonely at home..Lexie and Dally are good company

Tuesday and Paul heads to the hospital to bring Lucy and Bailey home
I do a dash up to the local shops to get some decorations for the welcome home.
Love the Stanhope Gardens sky

Mission accomplished

Waiting ...waiting...

Maree the delightful Community midwife is such a great support person for Lucy.
The voice of reason...giving Lucy such confidence.

Lovely to have Libby drop past for a visit.
