Catchup

The weeks get away again.
Where was I...
I had a lovely week in Cygnet 'holding the fort' while the boys were in Hong Kong.
They were never far away as Tom discovered he could Facetime me and so they did on a very regular basis..
The workload was quite manageable as we had informed our bigger customers that we wouldn't be doing the large mail outs during that week. I had lots of walk in customers...and sold a number of books between filling smaller orders.

Monday evening, I had 4 of my friends over for dinner.. They had not seen the house ...and were delighted to have a look through.. Lots of laughs and a great evening had.
I do a bit of Aurora photography after they leave

Hannah dropped down to say hi...and gave me hand with some orders about lunchtime on Wednesday.
I take a 10 minute walk down to Burton's at lunchtime one day...just too gorgeous to stay inside..

One evening, I finished off the six palliative care gowns by sewing on some labels I ordered.
At some point we will deliver them to Hobart

Beautiful Tulips that Lisa brought on Monday..open up
 Beautiful late afternoon light

'Wedding Day' is flowering well in my Rose garden

I spent a couple of afternoon/evenings weeding the very overgrown garden at the flat behind the shop..a huge job...but very satisfying to see it cleared.

I enjoyed a couple of takeaway lunches from the newly re-opened Red Velvet Lounge. Isabel and Jo are doing vegetarian fare...delish..

Lucy sends some gorgeous Bailey photos through the week..

Love love love this happy one

Friday came around very quickly...and I set out for Sydney in the afternoon.
Stopped over at Airport hotel then to Moree on Sat morning flight. It had been ages since I'd seen the Crandons, so it seemed like a good opportunity to visit while the boys were away.
Enjoyed a wonderful couple of days with these gorgeous people.
Benjamin and Jacob have grown up so much since last visit.
Ben is talking really clearly...and Jacob walking with confidence...astounding and delightful.
Fabulous to catch-up on all the news and just hang out and enjoy family routines...so special. (Thanks Jess and Aaron)

I eventually headed back to Sydney (after delayed flight)...and had a bumpy ride into the airport due to strong winds. Glad to get to my Airport hotel again...
Tues morning I set out for International Airport to meet the Hong Kong travellers...so exciting to see them arrive.

We had a few hours to chill out at the airport before our fight back to Hobart.
