Time gets away again

So, in the interest of filling you in on Tassie doings..I'll keep the dialogue brief and let the photos do the talking.
Firstly...a couple of my favourite Hong Kong shots of the boys ..
So many amazing photos and stories..

Back in Tasmania...and Tom is whisked off to a sleepover at Narn's..then to a Lego exhibition in Hobart

Good to have the boy (and his trusty 'Goldie') home again

We have a lovely weekend at home. John and Tom bring the Kayaks up from the flat and Tom and I delight in having a great paddle out on the dam.

John decides to process the Pulsatilla flowers...gorgeous aren't they.

I inspect my climbing roses..Wedding Day is well and truly in the lead.

 Stunning light..

The next few weeks are wet wet wet...with the occasional break

Fabulous clouds sweep across..

We have the occasional hail shower.

Then the sun breaks through for a little while before the next downpour..

And it is chilly...

Hannah takes possession of her first home. I spend the weekend helping clean and re-hang dodgey curtains. It is such a beautiful spot and will be a very cosy home

John calls in on his way home from a weekend Anthroposophical workshop

Hannah cooks up some soup for our Sunday lunch..

We had a very brief but delightful visit from Ali...Coming to do final inspection on the Gardners Bay house..She was quite unwell..poor thing.. but was delighted to review the house and see what exciting possibilities it has.
The week got colder and colder...

There is alot of snow on Hartz Mountain in the distance

 Gorgeous evening light

The next weekend, Tom, Hannah, Jark and I are doing the RAW challenge.
Couldn't be a more miserable start to the day...pelting with rain...and is icy cold...big snow dump on Mt Wellington...oh well...seemed like a good idea when I booked earlier in the year...

So we get into the spirit...and make the most of the day...
I struggle to get over alot of the obstacles ...but Jark gives me a hand...
We have such fun...laughed alot and got very muddy and wet and cold.
Once we had gone through one of the early obstacles called Titanic (a chest deep muddy puddle that had bags of ice poured into it....and a beam you had to duck under half way...getting your head underwater)...the rest was just...well more of the same really..only muddier
There were a number of obstacles that required strong upper body muscles...I tried them...but mostly had to go around them. Hannah and Tom skipped some as well...Jark did just about all of them...man he is strong!!
Anyway...once my arms stop aching I'll get into an upper body workout regime!!

 Exhausted , freezing but happy!!

Apparently Jimmy has been in town ..Well I never..

 More rain..

First clear-ish night I try to photograph the Aurora...too much cloud..

Tuesday night is more promising...so spectacular..
We could see the glow with naked eye...and the camera picks up the colours..

Well that's the latest..
