Just love the Autumn sky... every day I delight in changing cloud patterns
Jane , Ali and Hannah came over for Easter Sunday dinner and we watched my Galapagos movie.
It ended up stuck high in the gum tree. Needless to say he was very upset as retrieval seemed to be almost impossible.
Next day we tried to reach it via a ladder on top of John's car and an improvised long long handled saw...but were unsuccessful...was still too high to reach.
Ronnie (who agists his horses on our place ) offered to have a go at shooting the branches holding the drone. We took him up on the offer and all watched expectantly as he took aim. He managed to hit some branches but the Drone remained out of reach.
Fortunately the breeze came up and later that afternoon John and Tom saw that the Drone had dropped a little bit and was possibly reachable...So Hannah and I held out a blanket to catch it as John and Tom pulled at branches...and it dropped and was retrieved unscathed... What an adventure..
