We work through lots of orders on Monday.
Tom enjoys his scout night...no mishaps this week!!
Tuesday is a warm 28 degrees...
We have a nice combination of orders and customers..
There is a meeting at school tonight as Tom's class will be working with iPads..we have to sign off on him bringing it home during the week... Tom (and his classmates) are very excited!!.
Swimming carnival on a hot Wednesday 31 degrees!! Go Lourdes..(RED)
Its wonderfully cool in the shop.
I take a break and have a look in at the Watermark Art Exhibition in the Town Hall...very interesting selection of works from paintings to photos to sculpture...
Tom arrives home...happy after a day at the pool.
There weather begins to turn a bit...
Community garden is now on Thursday mornings ..so I head down. We spend the morning harvesting produce from the garden..lovely.
Libby and Tim arrive Thursday in time for dinner...
We take a walk down to Martin's Point after dinner to see the site where 'The One and All" was built.
A busy day in the shop on Friday..Libby and Tim do washing and enjoy strolling around town to see the sights. Tim is especially taken with the chocolate shop.
Hannah comes down from Hobart and will stay the night too..
After work/school we go up on the hill for a walk.. It's very warm walking about up there...
Home to dinner and chat before bed.
The drizzle drifts across on Saturday..
Hannah does a bit of study..
We have morning tea at Red Velvet then visit the "Watermark" Exhibition in the Town Hall.
Paul and Bob drop in to the shop so Bob can sign his books ...signed copies always sell well..
We do the Randall's Bay to Mickey's Beach track...in the drizzly rain..shame about the weather..
After lunch we drive into Hobart and visit MONA... It's a good place to be on a wet afternoon..

After a drive by Hannah's workplace "Rockwall" and her accommodation at UTAS we drive back via the Channel Highway and stop at Peppermint Bay at Woodbridge for dinner. Very nice too..
We drive the scenic route home following the coast road all the way back to Cygnet.
Tom enjoys showing the visitors his Optical Fibre Lamp before bed..
Sunday is still pretty ordinary weatherwise.
We walk down to the Sailing club and on the the next wharf..It is cool in the wind down there..and it still drizzles.
Morning tea at Lotus Eaters is very welcome.
We potter about at home while Tim and Libby do last pack-up...
We see them off...as they head to Freycinet Peninsula today. Has been really special having them here....as John said to Tim on parting...after a decade ...they finally have met.
We have a snooze then the boys get on with making a Eucalyptus/Plantago Cream.
I get the cream labels printed then do the Golf course circuit with Hannah.. a good walk.
We enjoy our roast dinner before watching David Attenborough...then Hannah and I watch Downton Abbey...
