coming up to 3 years ...more than 37 swans..Ben, Ben and Ben

Monday is another beautiful day..
It is coming around to 3 years since we began our Cygnet adventure...and the return of black swans to the back paddock always makes us smile.
I count over 47 today...

Our day is filled with orders so passes quickly..
When Tom goes off to work, John and I head up the hill to finish off some earth works.
We go down below the house site to see all the bulbs that are emerging...wonderful..

Then we get into it..and are soon done.
The late afternoon light is just magic...
I am tempted again to use the 'Daryl Kerrigan' favourite line...'how's the serenity'
 Cubby site looks impressive..

Tuesday is another gorgeous day. Happy Birthday Jark!!
John gets to work making Bath Milks...his least favourite task..
I do orders that come in and label and pack a cream John made on Friday...
John is intrigued by the shadow across the road...formed by the roof line of the building next door..

By lunchtime, I am feeling chilled to the bone..despite the wonderful sunshine...so I take 10 minutes to do a jog down to Burton's Reserve to warm up in the sun...that's better..and even better with lunch and a cuppa to follow.

The afternoon is so quiet, John suggests I have a rest... I prefer to go for a walk down to the Sailing Club...just beautiful.

I set up for Swansong tonight.
John goes up on the hill to dig some trenches in preparation for concreting as we heard the builders are going to make a start on Thursday...how exciting...

Hannah sends me a lovely photo ..She has taken Jark out for his birthday..
Wednesday passes quickly with orders and preparations for my trip to Moree tomorrow.
The boys drive me bright and early to the airport..so generous..as it is an early start.

I arrive in Moree at 7pm....after a stop over in Sydney.. What a delight to see my beautiful Jess at the airport to greet me...
(BABY PHOTO WARNING!!!..Stop reading now if baby photos offend)
Next morning, I am so privileged to be witness to the Crandon family routine..so much love for that little boy..

How gorgeous to watch Ben wake up slowly...then have his BIG stretch..

 Lucky Katie Nana ...

Ben has his first experience of solids while I am there...and loves it

Off to the park to walk the dogs..

I'm sure Thomas would have found Buddy's antics finding the only mud puddle in the park

Bath time...and he just loves it..

 Fresh as a daisy..

I enjoy the farm machinery on my walks around town in the morning..

Morning cuddles..

 Preparing to go to Narrabri.
Jess and Aaron are going on a movie date for Jess' birthday, while I look after Ben

 A morning nap first..
 Priceless..

Delicious lunch at the cinema...thanks Aaron and Jess..

Fun in the park while Mum and Dad go to the movies..
By the time we get home we are all very tired... Thai takeaway for dinner is a good option before we all crash into bed.

Sunday.. Happy 28th Birthday beautiful Jess!!

Holding a real baby this year...hard to get my head around it...so wonderful..how blessed we are.
 Morning giggles with dad..

Another delightful walk in the park...and Buddy has a great memory for puddles!

What a beautiful family..Ben is ready for bed.

I cook Jess' birthday dinner...and we celebrate.

Monday morning and our darling boy has red, red teething cheeks and is a bit sad..(or maybe he just knows his Katie Nana is leaving today)

Sad to leave..but so happy I had the most wonderful few days with the Crandon family...being a part of their daily routine... I take home very special memories..

Stop over in Sydney is a sunny one. I walk from Summer Hill to Ashfield to visit Pa.

He is firing on all cylinders and  we enjoy a long chat, tour the complex...then he walks down to Ashfield with me as I head to the train and airport.. What an unexpected gift

The boys pick me up...so lovely to see them...then it's home to bed..
