Progress on the Hill ...Sydney...Moree

Our dear friend Pat delivers delicious plums from her tree for us to enjoy...delightful..

The weather is against us over the weekend.. It comes and goes then comes and stays!!

The boys manage to get some more framing done..then due to rain and bitter cold they abandon the cubby and go over under the trees to put together a small shed to store gear out of the rain.

The internal walls in the house are coming along.

See the cubby on the hill!!

I go into town first thing Sunday to visit Narns and Jarks' house in South Hobart..really lovely.

Narns and I enjoy a cuppa then do a recci walk down the street to find the walking track into town...its a lovely walk following the rivulet to meet up with Collins St..a few blocks away is Royal Hobart Hospital...very handy..
Back up on the hill the boys have made headway...and we enjoy a lunch break in the shelter of the shed..terrific..

Monday and Tuesday pass quickly with orders to be done and customers too...The weather doesn't really improve.
Wednesday morning Tom and I fly out to Sydney...Thanks for holding the fort John !!

Lucy meets us and we head to Parramatta for lunch//Tom is so happy to see her..

Not so delighted at the prospect of watching Lucy try on wedding dresses!!.
But he does have a little look through the magazines and enjoys looking at the wedding ring designs.
Great to see Paul when he gets in from work...and enjoy a delicious dinner...then movie.

Thursday starts well ..walking the dogs.
Tom is in his element walking Lexie while Lucy has Dally...gorgeous dogs

We stop at the park and Tom enjoys the flying fox...and the dogs' reactions

Lucy has a go too

Lucy and I set out to Cabramatta to look for wedding dress material.
Paul has taken the day off so he and Tom hang out at home
Successful mission...except we will have to return tomorrow to pick up some of the material they have to get from their other shop in Wynyard..Oh well.

Home for lunch , then we set out for Mona Vale so Lucy and Paul can meet with their photographer..Tom and I enjoy looking around a Salvos shop and we find a toy shop too..

Then on to Palm Beach to see the wonderful Bible Garden where Lucy and Paul will be married..
What a view!! Fabulous..

Then down to the beach for a swim...wonderful

A short play in the park..

The dinner at Dunes...the reception venue..love love love it

Been a long day and we are all geld to get home and settle in for the night..

Friday and we say our goodbyes to Paul as he will be off to work...then go dog walking again.
It is already quite warm out...not even 7am yet..

Back to Cabramatta..

Mission accomplished..the we enjoy the sites as we go back to the car..

We surprise Sandra with a quick visit to the pharmacy in Cherrybrook...then go to Castle Towers to escape the heat and have some lunch. Tom enjoys poking about in Toyshop , DJs and Myer toy depts...then Lucy drops us to Epping so we can get to the airport for our 5pm flight to Moree.

Jess and Ben meet us...how exciting to see them.
Home to story time with Dad before bedtime. We are so happy to be here..

Saturday and I'm up for a walk in the relative cool of the morning. Gorgeous sunrise on my way home

Just love this butcher 1 doors away from Jess and Aaron's house..

 Great tea cup..

Ben...what are you doing in the ball basket?

Jess and Tome try out the new sofa bed

We head to the whooshing river to cool off and have a fun dip in the rushing current..

 Tom finds a quiet spot..
 Lunchtime..
 The dogs enjoy the swim..

The walk back after the 'ride' is hot work and a bit hard on the feet

Back home after an afternoon nap..its time to cool off in the pool..
Just have to remind the dogs that Ben has exclusive water rights...

A play on the swing brings on the giggles..

Before we know it it's story time again..before bed

At 6.30am it is already 23 degrees as I do my walk...

Goodmorning little one..

Fun and games

 Off to the pool..

Ben seems to take to his first pool experience..
 Tom is one happy chappy..

The spa pool is very hot today so I don't linger too long...

Back to the least heated pool...

 Watch you looking at Dad?

Don't you just love those curls?

 Great spot to keep cool

 Gorgeous Jess..
