Cygnet farewells Giselle..

Carmel Hall is transformed (by a wonderful group of locals)
into a welcoming lounge room space with curtains hung along the walls ,
masses of floral arrangements and a beautiful corner with lounge chairs and soft candle lighting.
Tables are set with china teacups down the back of the hall, in readiness for Giselle's wake.
The chairs facing Giselle's bush flower draped coffin are filled and the standing room is soon crowded..We have all come together at 10am Friday morning to remember Giselle.

Giselle's final photo is the cover of her memorial program... a poignant image

So many beautiful words spoken of this gentle, talented, funny and cherished woman.
There is such a deep sense of loss and disbelief.

The Lotus women gather together with Alex (Giselle's partner)as Ren sings this Maori prayer..

Our overwhelming wish is that Giselle has found peace .
