We have all been pretty tired and I've not been 100%...spent all Tuesday sleeping.. (upset tummy and headache) Strange 'losing' a day..I was out of kilter all week.
We had a mixed week of slow order days ..but sold a lot of books this week.
Enjoyed watching Talan setting up a 'new' vintage pink dress...I wandered over and had a look at her latest finds....and ended up buying a vintage summer frock...have to do a bit of work on it (very tight!!)
We enjoyed hearing snippets of what Lioba was doing at Inala.
Hannah flew up to Sydney on Friday.
The girls enjoyed a busy time of socialising and sight seeing.. Bronte/Bondi, Centrepoint Tower, Blue Mountains.. Thanks to Libby and Tim for having the girls for the weekend.
We had mixed weather over the weekend. Some sunshine...with lots of rain in between.
Thomas went on a scout hike at Randall's Bay on Saturday. John and I spent the day touring tip shops and enjoyed simple lunch at the Summer Kitchen in Ranelagh.
We all trooped down to Burton's Reserve in the afternoon to see the creek bursting it's banks... Tom enjoyed some time on his favourite play equipment.
Lovely to wander through the Community garden and find ducks enjoying themselves...
Signs of Spring...
Sunday and the rain came and went... We pottered about, went to market and Tom enjoyed a lovely morning playing with kids who had come to market. They rode bikes and climbed trees..great fun.
John did some work with his medicinal plants
Then tidied the garden ...
After lunch we went up on the hill to collect more kindling.. It was wild and windy up there under the trees. We walked to the dam and house site and found it more protected.. Just beautiful.
We eventually made our way back to town and decided to have afternoon tea at Red Velvet..nice.
We enjoyed a quiet spell at home. The boys took up their latest book and I went for a walk ...doing the Golf Course circuit...before the rain returned...lovely. I just love the afternoon light..
Dinner the a cosy night as the wind and rain picks up again..
