We are really busy with orders so the day passes quickly.
Thomas is very excited about dress ups for scouts tonight..
They must go as a character from Jungle Book...so he goes as a wolf..
I wait for a break in the weather and get out for a walk about 7.30pm...just back before the next downpour.
The boys enjoy their usual sock fight before shower time..
Tuesday and we see a bit of sun come and go ..but the predicted max. temp today is 10 degrees...with snow down to 300metres...brrr.
Good to huddle by the fire today waiting for orders to come in.. We heard an interview on the radio yesterday...the woman spoke of her parents marrying and moving to England...her mother found it very cold...so her husband bought her a Ping-Pong table to keep warm...today John is thinking of ordering one!! (or maybe we should resort to a daytime sock fight....not quite the same without Thomas)
We have a fairly quiet day which is a good thing as John succumbs to the tummy bug I had last week. He sleeps a lot of the day.
Thomas delights in unpacking an order of soft toys when he gets home from school..
It's is still so cold out after work that I can't resist going up on the hill for a quick walk in the bracing chill.. John decides to come too...I had hoped to see the snow on the distant mountains , but they are under cloud..
We have a few orders and customers ...but nothing too hectic. John is much better today...but still a bit wobbly.
Its lovely to have Hannah visit for dinner and an overnight stay..
Thursday is very chilly down at garden. There are signs of spring...but it feels like it is snowing somewhere close by.
We have a rogue rooster visiting the garden...he is very keen to get in with the girls...but can't figure out how to..
The afternoon passes with a few orders..still pretty quiet though.
Thomas has a Book Week parade tomorrow...themed Reading around the Universe..
He is going as an alien.
I'm off tomorrow to Sydney . Will pick up Lioba (with Libby's help) then head to Adelaide for the weekend to see the Lowe clan...looking forward to the adventure.
