Back to garden on Thursday and we harvest, harvest , harvest..
and begin work to prepare a new garden bed...hot work!!

Well earned feasting after a hot morning in the garden
Thursday night ...and I join Bec ,Jo, Di and Liz for our first St Ayles Skiff row at Cygnet..
We plan to do this regularly...while we still have light anyway..

John gets to work potentising a powder... a wonderful calming process that takes time..
Love the gentle rasping sound the pestle makes as it is grinds the powder in the mortar...in slow spiral movement...into the centre then back out..
We go up on the hill early on Saturday to beat the heat...
I walk the garden and clear away the plant cages and star pickets so mowing can be done..
The boys get up the last few wall frames...looks amazing
Look at the beautiful rose...makes me happy..

Down at the house site...the gyprock for the ceiling has been delivered..
Just finishing off for the morning..great work boys!!

Back on the hill in the late afternoon...I get to work heating and scraping layers of paint off the window frames
Beautiful sunset..
Sunday morning dawns and it is already 22 degrees...going to be a hot one.
I go to Ranelagh to attend 9.30 Mass with St James and Sacred Heart teachers and Board members.
Lovely to see the new church. We enjoy a cuppa and chat afterwards...
John has dropped Tom down to Egg and Bacon Bay for Scouts Foundation Day celebrations..
Water games , Kayaking and general fun to be had...Tom is very keen to go.
Back home and John and I spend our day in the cool of the shop.
I make a start cutting out Lucy's wedding dress..it is a lovely day..
Tom arrives home exhausted...and we are all thankful the rain comes across in the evening.
Monday sunrise is another stunner..the week is off to a great start..
